Decotar
Retardant of concrete surfaces
Properties:
- Production of pieces of artificial stone, compacted pebble
- There are 6 types which are used according to the granulometry of the concrete and the desired finish of the surface
- Types: 10 ÷ 60. The level of attack rises progressively according to the numbering
- Granulometry/type: 0-1 mm / 10 1-5 mm / 5-10 mm 20-30 / 40 and 10-40 mm / 50-60
Application:
- Shake the product (it tends to pour). Apply Decotar with a brush or a roller evenly over the clean mould. Let the product dry; when the solvent is evaporating, we will observe a uniform layer attached to it and then fill the mould with the concrete mix
- The pieces may remain in the mould for 48-72 hours without losing the finish of the surface. As a result, we obtain a delayed and regular surface with full adhesion of the compacted pebble
Characteristics:
- Performance: 10 m² / kg
- Density: 1 g/c.c
- Presentation: container of 25 kg
Decotar-Aqua
Retardant of concrete surfaces. It is a water-based product that works by slowing the hardening of the cement in the superficial part of the concrete, leaving its surface in the "compacted pebble" after washing it. This effect allows the production of concrete pieces, panels, anti-slip pavement, pool coping, etc., with an aspect of aggregate decorative concrete, which is very regular on the entire cleaned surface
- Decotar-Aqua r 1 and 2: 0 6 mm granulometry
- Decotar-Aqua 3 and 4: April 8 mm granulometry
- Decotar-Aqua 5: 8 12 mm granulometry
- Decotar-Aqua 6: 10 12 mm granulometry
Application:
- In the mould:
- Shake the product before using, it tends to pour
- The moulds must be free of release agents, dirt and dry
- Apply it pure on the mould surface making a continuous uniform layer by using a short nap roller or sprayer
- Let the product dry in the mould
- Once dry, pour the concrete
- In concrete:
- Shake the product before using, it tends to pour
- Apply with a sprayer over the concrete once smoothed and evened, between 15 and 30 minutes after the filtering and when any excess of superficial water in the concrete has disappeared.
- Do not leave the containers open after their use. Clean all the application tools (rollers, brushes, sprayers ...) with water
- Mould release:
- Under normal conditions, release the piece between 16 and 24 hours after having placed it and wash it with high pressure water
- After washing, the exposed aggregate appears
- In small precast pieces it is possible a strong brush with a strong wit plastic teeth or a wash with plain water to remove the remains of cement
- Let the dust that may remain in the mould dry and it will be easily removed with a brush
Characteristics:
- Performance: 8 12 m²/kg
- Density: 1 g/c.c
- Presentation: 20 kg
* To obtain a good result the surface should have a uniform colour
Hygiene and safety:
- Water-based, non-toxic, non-polluting, non-flammable product, avoid eye splashes. In case of splash, wash with abundant water
Decofluid 2
Concrete fluidizer
Properties:
- New generation superfluidizer
- Its excellent dispersion makes Decofluid.2 the ideal additive for constructions in which a low water/cement relation is required to obtain a concrete with good maintenance of the consistency of both high initial and final resistance
- Excellent fluidizing ability and/or water-reducing (even higher than 35%)
- High maintenance of the consistency
- It reduces the formation of empty spaces and gravel damage
- It increases the initial and final resistance of concrete when used as water-reducer
- It improves the impermeability and durability of concrete by reducing its porosity
- It allows you to obtain fluid concrete with low water/cement relation, without segregation or bleeding
- It allows the production of concrete at low temperature without initial resistance loss
- It improves the finish and texture of the concrete surface
Dosage:
- The usual dosage of Decofluid 2 is between 0.7 and 1.4% over the total weight of the cement, but these dosages can be extended or reduced depending on the needs of the fluidisation, water reduction and initial and final resistances desired. It is recommended making the appropriate tests to determine the optimal dosage in each case.
Application:
- It is an additive to be added directly to the concrete mix as a separate component
- An optimum fluidizing effect is obtained if it is added just after the addition of the mixing water
Characteristics:
- Density 20°C: 1,05 ± 0,02 g/c.c
- Presentation: containers of 25 and 220 l
Viacem
Setting accelerator and chloride-free hardening
Properties:
- Accelerating effect
- It reduces the start and end time of the setting
- It increases the rate of the production of pieces
Application:
- It is added along with the mixing water
Characteristics:
- Performance: the recommended dosage varies between 1 and 2% over the total weight of the cement, although the desired effect, temperature and type of cement may vary. A previous test determines the exact percentage
- Density: 1,33 ± 0,01 g/c.c
- pH solution 1%: 3,5 ± 0,2 (v/v)
- Thickness: 23 ± 3 CPS (25 ° C)
- Presentation: container of 38 and 165 kg
Decogel
Superficial paint remover
Description:
- Concrete remover to obtain acid-washed pieces
- It is applied on smooth concrete to give a micro-deactivated look similar to stone
Properties:
- Acid thick product that slowly and evenly attacks the concrete surface
Application:
- It is used pure and should not be diluted
- Shake the product before using it
- Wet the pieces abundantly with water and spread the product with a brush over them and rub it
- Leave on for several minutes and rinse with plenty of water
- Rinse again with plenty of water, heat and high-pressure if possible
- Do not let the product dry on the concrete; whitish areas may appear
Characteristics:
- Performance: it varies depending on the cases. A previous test allows you to determine the amounts between 150 and 300 g/m²
- Presentation: container of 35 kg.
- Hygiene and safety:
- Acid product, avoid splashing into the eyes and prolonged contact with the skin
